Breaking Silence: Walk and Squawk Together

GOODR TEAMS UP WITH BREAKING SILENCE TO RELEASE SUNNIES THAT PROMOTE EMPATHY
goodr has once again partnered with Breaking Silence to create NEW Walk and Squawk Together sunnies. These sunnies feature a modern geometric design in shades of dark blue, navy and purple, with dark pink reflective lenses. Last year goodr and Breaking Silence collaborated on Thank You For Sharing sunglasses, and in previous years they dropped Flamingos Can Fly Too, and Use Your Words shades.

Breaking Silence is a nonprofit that engages and inspires communities to take action and recognize their responsibility for the impact interpersonal violence (IPV) has on our culture. The organization is committed to promoting empathy, healing and open dialogue through a traveling interactive exhibit in which the stories of survivors are brought to life with chilling realism.

Starting September 17, 2021, consumers can purchase Walk and Squawk Together sunnies. Proceeds go towards Breaking Silence’s mission of creating a healed culture through action and empathy. This year we will walk together, to heal together.

In celebration of Walk and Squawk Together, goodr CEO Carl the Flamingo said, “SQUAAAWK! Empathy, connection, and community are legit values here at goodr, so we’re stoked to partner with Breaking Silence. Will I be at the march this Fall? Does Pinocchio have a wooden butt?! Do you think Pinocchio worries about termites?”
