LIFE @ GOODR

At goodr, our office policy is all about balance. We’re in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM for collaboration and connection. We schedule most of our meetings on those days. The rest of the time, you can work wherever you shine brightest (yes, even from your couch, burrito-style). Some roles may require more office time, and occasionally a third office day might pop up—but don’t worry, we’ve been a hybrid workplace since the beginning, and that’s not changing.

Think open floor plan meets clubhouse energy. There’s no assigned seating. Just a mix of desks, cozy couches, and shared tables where you can plop down and get sh*t done (or brainstorm your next big idea). Dress code? Nope. We care about what you bring to the table, not what you’re wearing at it. Dogs are totally welcome, so expect the occasional bark of encouragement. We’ve got a fully-stocked Break Room, a gym area with weights for mid-day pump-ups, and when the mood strikes, we break out the pickleball nets for some friendly (but fiercely competitive) matches. If you need to jump into a meeting or take a call, we’ve got multiple themed conference rooms, including the Box Office, styled like a movie theater, decked out with movie posters starring our various frame styles. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of workplace, and we like it that way.

We ask candidates to draw an epic pirate vs. octopus battle because it tells us a lot about how you show up. At goodr, we do things differently than most of corporate America. If you are willing to lean in, get a little weird, and have fun with it, you are probably a great fit for our culture of Fun and Authenticity. (Also known as being down to clown.)

Carl the Flamingo was created in an origin story for the first pair of goodrs, named Flamingos On a Booze Cruise. In the story, Carl saves the goodr co-founders after they get lost in a jungle by Cancún. They partied on his yacht, yada yada yada, Carl became honorary CEO. goodr’s real, human CEO is Stephen Lease. Making Carl our mascot. But don’t tell him that.
