goodr celebrates every Earth Day by releasing limited-edition sunglasses made from 100% recycled materials—and the packaging is 100% sustainable, too! As a proud 1% for the Planet member, 1% of goodr's annual sales go directly to environmental organizations like Protect Our Winters, Pandas International, the California Wildlife Center, Heal the Bay, the Coral Reef Alliance, and more. 1% for the Planet certifies every donation, ensuring we fulfill our commitment to the environmental movement.

100% CARBON NEUTRAL

goodr is 100% carbon neutral! Through carbon offsets, we ensure no net carbon is added from our operations, covering everything from product development to shipping. We partner with Bonneville Environmental Foundation to fund projects like reforestation, methane capture, and clean energy. We also reduce waste, use recycled materials, and improve office efficiency. Because loving our planet isn’t optional—it’s what non-assholes do. Now go green, ya flockers!

NATIONAL PARK FOUNDATION

Gorgeous rock formations, magnificent forests, crystal-clear streams, wide open spaces... What’s not to love about our national parks?! At goodr (a company founded by runners), we're obsessed with the majesty of the great outdoors. In partnership with the National Park Foundation, we've created 15+ sunglasses celebrating national parks, from the lush forests of Great Smoky Mountains in the East to the majestic peaks of Yosemite in the West to the vibrant deserts of Joshua Tree in the Southwest.

THE LOS ANGELES LGBT CENTER

At goodr, we have a mission: We exist to give you permission to be unabashedly yourself,...unless you're an asshole. That's why we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with annual limited-edition Pride shades. Plus, we make charitable donations to The Los Angeles LGBT Center, which provides health, social services, housing, leadership, and advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. You deserve the right to be unabashedly yourself, and we'll NEVER sashay away from that fight.

STOP AAPI HATE

Our Amplify Series provides a platform to empower marginalized communities, drive cultural conversation, and inspire change. For our first project, we independently created limited-edition sunglasses to benefit Stop AAPI Hate, a national coalition fighting racism and injustice against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. As part of our mission to celebrate all people, we also hosted AAPI-themed events and activations for goodr employees and the local run and bike communities.

WAGS & WALKS

We partner with Wags & Walks each year to launch a fetching pair (see what we did there?) of doggo-inspired sunglasses. Because let's get real: dogs are the BEST people!!! Founded in 2011, Wags & Walks works to reduce euthanasia in local shelters and increase awareness of rescue dogs being wonderful pets. goodr is proud to support a nonprofit that helps canine friends of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments find the loving forever homes they deserve. We hope that gets your tail wagging!

DENVER ZOO

goodr loves Denver Zoo! Dedicated to wildlife conservation and education, it’s home to over 3,000 animals and was the first US zoo with naturalistic enclosures. Over the years, we've created shades inspired by their silverback gorillas (I'm Bringing Silverback), African penguins (All I Do Is Penguin-Win-Win), and, of course, the rock stars of the animal world, flamingos (Party Like a Flock Star). goodr is proud to support Denver Zoo's crucial conservation efforts and incredible animal residents.

GEORGIA AQUARIUM

Georgia Aquarium promotes the conservation of aquatic biodiversity throughout the world. As an animal research and care leader, they're dedicated to fostering a deeper appreciation for our ocean and the creatures that call it home. goodr is thrilled to support GA by creating sunglasses celebrating their amazing animals, from octopuses (Octo-Posse Paparazzi) to coral (Look, Don't Touch) to sharks (These Frames Don't Bite) We can’t wait to celebrate more amazing sea creatures in the future!!!

LAS FOTOS PROJECT

Las Fotos Project empowers teenage girls and gender-expansive youth from communities of color through photography and mentorship. With year-round programs, students gain access to professional cameras, expert instruction, and mentors who help them explore identity, build leadership skills, and grow creatively. As our 2024 10% giveback partner through Angel City Football Club, goodr is proud to support Las Fotos Project's mission to amplify diverse voices through art.

Breaking Silence

Breaking Silence engages and inspires communities to take action against interpersonal violence and understand its impact. Through their interactive traveling exhibit and eponymous podcast, survivors and perpetrators of violence and abuse share their stories, sparking reflection, understanding, and healing. Breaking Silence also offers a training program teaching others how to have those conversations and intervene when something is off. goodr is proud to support this nonprofit organization.
