Let's take a break from slamming margs all day to talk about something close to our hearts. No, not our lungs. Our ongoing partnership with Breaking Silence.

Breaking Silence is a nonprofit organization that engages and inspires communities to take action against interpersonal violence and understand its impact. Through their interactive traveling exhibit and eponymous podcast, survivors and perpetrators of violence and abuse share their stories, sparking reflection, understanding, and healing.

Do you wish YOU had the ability to start having those conversations and intervene faster when something is off? The organization also offers an interactive and engaging training program. WAGS & WALKS

ARF ARF, WOOF WOOF!!! The best thing about our canine friends is their gift of unconditional love!!! That's what inspired these Be the Person Your Dog Thinks You Are sunnies. These limited-edition sunnies feature an abstract print made with actual doggie paw prints. Our dogs think we're amazing, even when we're at our most mediocre. (We think they're amazing too.) That's why we're proud to release this pair in collaboration with Wags & Walks to benefit dogs in need. Wags & Walks is an incredible organization that saves family-friendly pooches from high-kill shelters & helps place them in loving fur-ever homes. goodr is thrilled to support Wags & Walks (and our beloved canine friends) with sunglasses and a charitable donation every year. We hope that gets your tail wagging!!!

THE LOS ANGELES LGBT CENTER

We're celebrating Pride with a new design: breathtaking butterflies the colors of several LGBTQ+ flags. Why butterflies? They symbolize freedom, beauty, resilience, and realizing your full potential as your authentic self. Whether you're marching in a parade, attending a workshop, or dishing out dollars at a drag show, spread your wings this Pride! goodr is proud to support The Los Angeles LGBT Center with a charitable donation and two limited-edition sunnies: Is It Queer in Here or Is It Just Us?! (OGs) and Not a Phase, a Transformation (Circle Gs).

DENVER ZOO

goodr loves Denver Zoo!!! It's dedicated to saving wildlife through education and conservation, gives a home to over 3,000 animals, and was the first Zoo in the US to provide naturalistic enclosures rather than cages with bars. (Carl the Flamingo suggested they include actual bars that serve drinks so he & his animal friends can party together, but hasn’t gotten a response yet.) Over the years, we've created sunnies inspired by their silverback gorillas (I'm Bringing Silverback), African penguins (All I Do Is Penguin-Win-Win), and, the rock stars of the animal world, flamingos (Party Like a Flock Star). All proceeds go to Denver Zoo.

GEORGIA AQUARIUM

Did you know that corals are animals, NOT plants?! Not only that but corals have been around for half a billion years, which means they're practically an OG of the sea. Even though coral reefs cover less than one percent of the ocean floor, they support about 25% of all ocean life. That's why it's super important that we do our best to protect them. With these limited-edition sunnies, you’re helping Georgia Aquarium promote the conservation of aquatic biodiversity throughout the world. These shades are trash– literally. In honor of Earth Day, we release our These Shades Are Trash sunnies, a pair of atmospheric clear frames with oceanic blue lenses made from 100% recycled plastic and 100% of the proceeds go to 1% For The Planet. As a member of 1% For The Planet, we're also climate neutral and donate 1% of our annual proceeds to verified nonprofits that support the earth and animals.
