Hi! Hi! Hi! It's me, Bosley's Ghost! This week was so fun! I met a cowardly stoner, a bland preppy, a clumsy hottie, and a clever nerd! We solved a supernatural mystery! The villain got arrested! And he said, "I would have gotten away with it too, if for you meddling kids, and this meddling ghost of a sunglasses mogul's basset hound!"
But there wasn't any money to be made doing this! Our start-up "mystery-solving company" IMMEDIATELY went down in flames! And everyone went back to their low-paying jobs in retail! Except for me! I don't need a job, or money! I'm a ghost! And a dog! Hey! Hey! Hey! Remember the movie Ghost Dog?!?! I DEMAND TO BE CAST IN THE REBOOT!!! [BARK, BARK, BARK]
Anyway, here's a blurb about the new episode of CULTURE goodr!
CULTURE goodr, Episode #57: Maintaining Agility
Flock the sunk cost fallacy!!! At goodr, the only constant is change. In this episode, Stephen and Shaun talk about maintaining agility, and not grinding for the sake of grinding. What worked for the company in 2017 doesn't necessarily work in 2023. For example, we shifted from the quarter system to the trimester system, analyze the metrics after every launch, and constantly re-invent TWC (Tuesdays with Carl, our weekly all-staff meeting) using O.W.L.S. (Meetings to discuss Opportunities, Wins, Losses, and Snext actions. As SDL says, we love stupid acronyms!!!)
Wow! I love acronyms! I'm going to come up with an acronym — I mean backronym — for Bosley! Tune in next week to see what it is!!! I love you!!! I love you!!! I love you!!! Hi!!!
